Poplar cottage is a self-contained, colonial cottage in richmond, southeast tasmania. You can visit richmond gaol, australia's oldest. Poplar cottage is located in the main street of the village and overlooks historic richmond bridge. The cottage has an open log fire in the exposed-brick living room, a fully-equipped kitchen and the bathroom has a deep claw foot bath and laundry facilities. The main bedroom has an antique iron and brass double bed, and there is a second twin bedroom. The property accommodates up to four guests in two bedrooms.
